On the other hand, in the US, instant tickets have no value until they have arrived at their retail location and each ticket packs have been individually activated via a designated lottery terminal. In such case as in the US, normal courier service is utilized to distribute their printed tickets as the overall risk is low.

However, since more than half of 80 countries that operate lottery business do not have management system and terminals those countries/jurisdictions distribute their tickets via a manual process (either via sales representatives and/or designated lottery employee/staff).
