Check List
The appropriateness of the security and QC plan before and after process
Purpose
To check that appropriate quality assurance standard (stability, credibility, security, maintenance, durability etc) is applied to ensure the produced lotteries have the highest quality through the QC performed before and after the process, preventing problems in the lotteries and that such procedure is being implemented.

Product
Detailed study list and method
- Check if appropriate QC plan is established in the production order
- Check if security audit plan is defined to prevent forgery and alteration
◦ Benday printing
◦ Fluorescent ink
◦ Zion
◦ Optically Variable Ink (OVI)
◦ Print microscopic characters on the background
◦ Etching design method, etc
- Check short-and long-term test activities of game data for durability, Moisture resistance, security as stated in the quality control plan.
- QC activities are as follows:
◦ Basic check: naked eye and microscope check of unscratched and scratched lotteries
◦ Lifting in the dry state: Lift the scratch coating using a sharp blade and check the game image. Then check that it can be placed back onto its original state by using a wet cotton bud
◦ Freeze test: Check if the scratch peels normally after a 2-hour freezing period
◦ Mechanical test: Check if the game data can be read after peeling the foil or paper layer without peeling the scratch area
◦ Chemical test: Check if some lotteries use a material that mobilizes more than one ink substance used in lottery to read the hidden data and can be restored to its original state
◦ Thermal test: Use chemical deposition, and heated moisture, and test the image of the game data in various temperatures and humidity
◦ Film Lifting: Detect counterfeit (forgery) technique by using the deposition of chemically modified ethanol, and by using a special washable tape
◦ Optical test: A method to read the game data through a transmissible light bulb (Indicate the unit of transmissible light bulb and color photograph during permeation)
◦ UV Light: See if the game data is visible (shows through) when the lottery is placed over UV light
◦ X-ray test: A method to read the game data using an X-ray machine
◦ Light test: Check if the game contents are visible (shown through) when instant lottery is placed before a bright light
◦ Moisture resistance test
1) Self test example
◦ Oven test: Place a product in the oven, heating it for 20-30 minutes at 120~150 degrees and check the state of cracking of the coated film and the exfoliation on the scratch latex
◦ Solvent test: Check the extent of (exfoliation) peeling on the coated film or damage on ink jet data by applying on the product surface chemical substance (liquid: MEK(Methyl Ethyl-Ketone), thinner)
◦ Tape test: Check the state of exfoliation on the scratch latex by repeatedly applying the tape to the product surface
◦ Ironing test: Place an A4 sheet of paper on the product surface and apply an iron to check if the coating or scratch latex does not smear the paper
◦ Pressure test: Check if there is peeling or sticking occurrence in the scratch latex, graphic printing section or ink jet output section due to pressure from the cutting machine or when held in a vice
◦ Basic test: naked eye and microscope check of unscratched and scratched lotteries
◦ Infrared test: Check to see if the game concealed under the scratch can be seen using an infrared ray
◦ Expansion test: Place an alcohol-soaked piece of paper over front and back of the lottery --> Place the lottery under a heat-resisting glass --> Place the iron set to 200(+/-5) degree temperature on the glass for 12 minutes -->After removing the paper, check if the image has risen using a naked eye or infrared ray
◦ Lifting in the dry state: Lift the scratch coating using a sharp blade and check the game image. Then check that it can be placed back onto its original state by using a wet cotton bud
◦ 1% detergent test: Soak 2 lotteries - one concealed under a scratch and one peeled, in 1% of detergent for 10 minutes --> dry overnight -->check if the image can be read through scratch coating,
◦ Check that the scratch peels normally, check that game image is undamaged
◦ Freeze test: Check if the scratch peels normally after a 2-hour freezing period
2) Official external test
