The Addictions Foundation of Manitoba conducts regular prevalence studies within the student population of the province in order to better understand what substances and forms of gambling are common with this group and to what degree youth are engaging in these behaviours. The 2007 study consisted of over 50 schools and 5000 students selected from grades 7 through 12.
