- Gambling and problem gambling in Ontario-2005

This report presents the results of a survey regarding the nature and extent of gambling and gambling problems in Ontario. The objectives of this study were to determine the prevalence of gambling and problem gambling, to describe the characteristics of individuals experiencing gambling-related problems, and to compare trends with the 2001 Ontario gambling prevalence study Measuring Gambling and Problem Gambling in Ontario [link] (Wiebe, Single, & Falkowski-Ham, 2001) with regards to levels of gambling and problem gambling. The Canadian Problem Gambling Index (CPGI) was used to measure gambling problems.
