In 2007/08, three new major grant proposals were conditionally approved pending ethics approval. Two of the projects were ommenced after ethics approval was confirmed:
• Acculturation and gambling: The case of mainland Chinese immigrants to Calgary, Alberta (#47)
• Conversations of change? Examining gamblers’ help-seeking and change-sustaining conversations (#49)
As at March 31, 2008, ethics approval was still pending for a third conditionally approved project.
