Abstract : All commentaries share our concerns about gambling industry influence on gambling research. All accept the need for change in funding relationships in this field. However, we advocate the ending of reliance by researchers on gambling profits; governments are conflicted, and hypothecation of gambling profits can materialize this conflict.
